...But instead of the endless abyss, you wake in the woods to find a flitty fox girl running her hands over your body, her palms awash with healing sorcery.

This kitsune is no otherworldly deity, nor a spirit of the forest; she is simply a gifted sorceress, a fellow condemned criminal, and your mortal savior.

In gratitude, you pledge her your servitude.

She will make good use of it. Your new fluffy-tailed leader has unearthed natural riches granting power beyond belief, and holds grand ambitions.
To see them through, she’ll need allies she can depend on.
